    Who we are

    Suggested text: Our website address is: https://tombelapluie.fr is hosted by WordPress in France and owned by Barbara Ferreres, 10 rue Montesquieu, 66470 Sainte Marie la Mer. It uses several applications for its fonctionnig that may collect your data, hence why you are being ask whether you consent to such collection by our partners or not. Tombelapluie and Barbara Ferreres make no further use of data collected than sending newsletter to people who have conscented and can opt out at any time. However, our host, Infomaniak, might collect anonymous data for the purpose explained below.

    Account

    Tombelapluie allows you to create an account or to connect to its website using an existing wordpress account. The administrator can see the chosen names, entered emails and time of creation if one choose to make an account especially on Tombelapluie, which is not offered as this is published on the 03/07/2024. 

    Comments

    However, the administrators can see you gravatar public data when you choose to publish a comment, that will be published only after validation. If you want your comment to be taken down before validation, please send a second comment asking the admin to delete both comments and your email adress. An email will be sent to you with a confirmation (and if you ask for it, a screenshot) proving that your comment as well as associated data have been deleted from Tombelapluie database. 

    When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

    An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

    Media

    If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Please be careful when uploading data online.     Content Moderation

    Forbidden content and subsequant bans 

    As previously stated, Barbara Ferreres, admin of Tombelapluie, is until next policy change (policy update: 03/07/2024), the sole moderator of content published on the website and hence won’t publish anything against European Law, such as hate speech, comments or media targeting minorities, pornography, or any kind of content the admin finds not in accord with the website content and line of conduct. Swear words or chocking images might be used with a warning if they are posted with an artist intention or meaning, conforming to European Law. Personal attacks are not tolerated, might thy target the admin or any physical or moral person outside of an artistic context and might be taken down without notice. You may appeal at tombelapluiepoetry@gmail.com, and every appeal will be answered, but it does not mean your content will be allowed back online. Any content bearing transphobe, homophobe, ableist, racist, antisemitic or islamophobic views will be suppressed nefore being published without warning. Tombelapluie being a personal website, the admin is free not to accept content they find not suitable on their website. Multiples violation despite warning emails and/or discussion with the admin might result in a temporary or definitive ban. This also means comments posted by an identificable banned user ban evading using a vpn, mobile network or  different device will be kept as proof of ban evading for a definitive ban, or deleted right away if a definitive ban is already set on the user. 

    Ads posted without asking, spam, bot comment, aswell as ai generated comments will not pass the moderation stage. The user posting such content exposes themselves to an IP ban.

    Opposing views and critics 

    I am not god, anyone may disagree with me in a civilised and polite fashion. Negative criticism is always useful, so please proceed if you’re being constructive and polite. Discussions are welcomed as long as everyone is genuinely respectful – it’s what makes the internet live!


    Cookies

    If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

    If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

    When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year.     Who we share your data with

    If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

    How long we retain your data

    If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

    For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

    What rights you have over your data

    Where your data is sent
